Unconditional love

When speaking about God's love for us, the Holy Bible is never limited to the simple expression “God loves us” but always documents the manifestation of that love.

✝️ “But God proves his love for us in that while we still were sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

✝️ “In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.” (1 John 4:10)

✝️“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

Love is more than a feeling or an intention. Real, divine love is an action, a sacrifice. God expressed His love for us through the sacrifice of His only begotten Son. And He did this act of love when we needed it most. He showed his love when we were still lost in our wrongdoing.

God searches our hearts, minds, and our whole life and knows everything about us. He sees and knows everything we have done, is doing, and will do, every thought, intention, and deed. And with his perfect knowledge of our frail human nature, God loves us with unconditional love, which he expresses through the sacrifice of his only Son, Jesus Christ, on the cross for the salvation of human beings.

This is the wonderful and profound truth the Holy Bible teaches us. Let us believe, trust, and rejoice in that perfect Love.
