It’s said that the phrase “Fear not” appears in the Bible 365 times. That’s one “Fear not” for every single day of the year! God's intention is clear: He wants us to live each day in peace, free from fear and anxiety. When you wake up in the morning, no matter what’s ahead, God reminds you, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)
These aren’t just words of comfort—these are promises from Almighty God!
- “I am your God.” The Creator of the universe, the One who spoke the stars into existence, says to you, “I am your God.” He’s not distant. He’s personal. He’s invested in your life.
- “I am with you.” God isn’t far off, looking at your life from a distance. No, He’s with you in the midst of it all. He’s by your side in the ups and the downs, walking with you through the valleys and the peaks.
- “I will strengthen you.” Whatever you’re facing today, know that God will give you the strength to overcome it. You’re not going to go under, you’re going to go over.
- “I will help you.” Whatever you’re facing, God is not going to leave you to handle it alone. He’s going to help you navigate through it. You don’t have to figure everything out. You’ve got the best helper there is!
- “I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Even when it feels like you’re slipping, when the ground beneath you feels shaky, God is holding you up. You’re not going to fall. You’re not going to fail.
So the next time fear tries to creep into your mind, remember these promises: God is with you, He will strengthen you, He will help you, and He will uphold you. You can face the day with confidence, knowing that the One who holds it all together is holding you, too.
