My Redeemer Lives

The blessed Job is one of the best examples in the Bible of a man who kept his faith strong in the face of pain, suffering, and deprivation. He endured every human misfortune, from hunger and poverty to diseases, the loss of his children and wealth, and the deceit of his wife. He even faced insults from his friends and attacks from his servants, yet he relied on God and proclaimed, "I know that my Redeemer lives.” (Job 19:25).

Today, many of us are experiencing difficulties, tribulations, and deprivations. The entire world is suffering, but as Christians, we know that through His death on the cross, Christ defeated death and granted us life through His resurrection. Our Savior lives!

The longest and most painful suffering in this world is merely a tiny split second compared to eternity. If we face the trials of this life with courage and maintain our faith and hope in God, we will inherit that eternity of which the apostle Paul spoke, saying, "I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us." (Romans 8:18)

CHRIST IS RISEN!
