All of us often find ourselves in situations where we feel alone, and a sense of fear fills our hearts. However, if we believe in and trust our Creator God, we must be strong and courageous because He is always with us wherever we go and whatever we do.
God commanded Joshua to be courageous and brave when he succeeded Moses the Prophet, calling him to lead God's people to the promised land. Likewise, we too must be strengthened and courageous to fearlessly and faithfully live our lives, overcoming all difficulties, and trials, and fulfilling our unique calling in this life.
The command given to Joshua and to us is a promise of God's presence in our lives. We cannot be strong on our own; we can only be strong in the Lord, whose power never knows weakness.
So, let us live our lives in the perfect presence of God, under His paternal and loving care. God will walk with us through all the steps of our lives, driving away fear and empowering us to bravely overcome all difficulties, trials, and challenges of life.
Let us pray, saying: "I give you thanks, O Lord, with all my heart; I will sing your praises before the angels. I bow before your holy Temple as I worship. I praise your name for your unfailing love and faithfulness; for your promises are backed by all the honor of your name. As soon as I pray, you answer me you encourage me by giving me strength." (Psalm 138:1-3)
